Disk storage continues to grow but gets faster too…
El Reg reports on a 5TB solid state disk capable (internally) of 6GB/s bandwidth. Connecting to a motherboard via PCIe (version 2) limits useful transfer to 500MB/s but thats still repectable. PCIe version 3, expected 2010, raises the game to 1GB/s
